The top ChatGPT advertisers in October 2026 were Temu, Expedia, Jotform, Angi and Coursera. This list ranks the 100 brands advertising on ChatGPT most often in the questions we asked, by the 356,540 ad placements our collector recorded in the US from 1 to 28 Oct 2026. Together the top 100 held 34% of placements, and no single advertiser held more than 1.7%.

• The top 10 ChatGPT advertisers in October 2026 were Temu, Expedia, Jotform, Angi, Coursera, NerdWallet, Consumer Rating, Hungryroot, Intuit (QuickBooks, TurboTax) and Quince.
• Temu (5,809 placements) and Expedia (5,704) are neck and neck at the top, each with about 1.6% of all placements.
• The top 10 hold 10.5% and the top 100 hold 34.0%; another 62% is spread across 11,331 other advertisers, and 4% ran through ad-tech click links.
• Jotform and Capital One Shopping appeared in all 20 of our question topics, far beyond their home categories. 35 of the top 100 showed up in 15 or more topics.
• 13 of the top 100 are comparison, review or quote sites, such as Consumer Rating, BestMoney, EverQuote and The Zebra.
• 19 of the top 100 were new to our data in October, including EverQuote, Back Market, DoorDash and Nike. Part of this reflects topics we started covering in October, not only advertisers that just started.

Placements are counted per ad shown in one answer in October 2026, from our own collector in the US. Subdomains are grouped under one advertiser (for example, Intuit includes QuickBooks and TurboTax); related brands on different domains, such as Capital One and Capital One Shopping, are listed separately. Advertisers are shown under the brand behind each click domain; some, such as Optimum (optimuminternetservice.com) and Xfinity Special, may be authorized resellers. The 13 comparison, review or quote sites counted in the takeaways are Consumer Rating, NerdWallet, BestMoney, EverQuote, Forbes, Top 5 Best, GetApp, The Zebra, Capterra, Consumer Picks, Credible, LendingTree and Expert Market. Ad-tech click links from Criteo, StackAdapt and Google (14,236 placements) are left out, because one link can stand for many advertisers. "First recorded by us" is the first month the advertiser appears anywhere in our data, which starts in April 2026. Linked names open the advertiser's page in our library, which shows all-time figures.

What the ranking tells advertisers

• No brand dominates. Even the leader holds under 2% of placements, and in automotive, IT and beauty the most-seen advertiser holds about 3% of the topic or less.
• Some advertisers show up far outside their home category. Temu, Jotform and Rocket Money appeared in 18–20 of our 20 topics. Our data shows where ads appeared, not whether that reach paid off.
• Comparison sites are already here. Comparison and quote sites such as Consumer Rating, BestMoney and EverQuote appear often in insurance, finance and telecom. If you sell in those categories, their ads appear in the same conversations where yours could.

How we built this list

Our collector asks ChatGPT realistic questions in 20 everyday topics from the US and records every ad shown, with its advertiser, click link and date; from 1 to 28 Oct it asked 430,856 questions. Collection was heavier on some days than others and paused on others, so we rank the month as a whole.
