Terms and data license
ChatGPT Ads Library is a public record of the sponsored ads that appear inside ChatGPT. The library is free to browse and free to cite. The underlying dataset is proprietary and stays that way.
In short. Read anything. Cite anything, with credit. Do not scrape, redistribute, or resell the dataset. All rights reserved.
What you can do
- Browse, search, and read the entire public library at no cost, without an account.
- Quote, screenshot, and cite our figures in articles, research, posts, and reports, with attribution.
- Link to any page in the library, including advertiser, niche, and individual ad pages.
What you cannot do
- Bulk extraction, scraping, or automated harvesting of the dataset or any substantial part of it.
- Redistributing, republishing, or reselling the dataset, in whole or in part.
- Commercial reuse of the dataset, including using it to build, train, or supply a competing product or dataset.
- Presenting our data as your own, or citing it without attribution.
How to cite us
Name the source and link to it. For example: "According to ChatGPT Ads Library, 2,700 advertisers are running ads inside ChatGPT." A link to the page you took the figure from is enough. If you are citing a specific number, please also note the date you retrieved it, since the library updates continuously.
About the data
Our counts describe the sample we captured, not OpenAI internal data. How we probe, what each number means, and where the limits are is documented on the methodology page. We publish those caveats openly because an honest sample is more useful than an overstated one.
Advertiser content and trademarks
Ad creatives, brand names, and logos shown in the library remain the property of their respective owners. They appear here as a factual record of advertising observed inside ChatGPT, for reference, research, and commentary. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI or any advertiser featured in the library.
Changes
These terms may change as the product evolves. The version on this page is always the current one. Substantive changes will be reflected here rather than announced separately.
