What makes competitor analysis useful here?

The useful unit is not a generic list of similar brands. It is a selected comparison backed by the ads and appearances captured for those advertisers inside the same category evidence. The workspace shows exact observed share, placements, and creatives; organizes prompt clusters into common, shared, and exclusive territories; and lets you investigate each advertiser's prompts, creatives, campaign tags, and inferred context independently. If your company has no supported category evidence, the rivals are compared against one another rather than against a false zero baseline.

Move from a competitor name to a strategic difference

Each layer answers a different question, while the underlying ad and prompt records remain available as proof.

01

Who is more visible in the category?

Compare selected rivals using the same snapshot denominator and distinguish an unobserved advertiser from measured zero performance.

Establish the competitive baseline.
02

Where do their messages collide?

Organize actual advertiser appearances into semantic territories that are common, shared by several rivals, or exclusive to one.

See crowded and differentiated intent.
03

What are they putting into market?

Inspect bounded creative evidence, observed landing-page tags, supporting prompts, and niche-scoped inferred targeting context.

Translate overlap into a research brief.

A focused competitor investigation

The comparison set stays small enough to read and deep enough to verify.

  1. Choose up to three rivals

Use onboarding competitors or add a temporary advertiser to the comparison without silently changing saved setup.

  2. Read the comparison

Review exact observed share, sponsored placements, and creative breadth across the selected entities.

  3. Open an intent territory

See contributing prompts and advertiser placement counts inside common, shared, or exclusive clusters.

  4. Investigate one advertiser

Move through overview, prompts, creatives, campaign tags, and inferred targeting evidence without losing the comparison.

Keep competitor research connected from first comparison to ongoing watch

Begin with category intelligence, then carry the same evidence into deeper monitoring, planning, and controlled campaign work.

Questions, answered plainly

What the evidence supports, where it stops, and how the dashboard should be used.

01

Can I compare competitors that I did not add during onboarding?

Yes. The dashboard can add a temporary observed advertiser to the URL-backed comparison. Permanent profile changes remain in Edit setup.

02

Does a missing competitor row mean zero performance?

No. An advertiser without supported evidence is labelled not observed. The dashboard does not convert absence into a performance score.

03

Are inferred targeting contexts the competitor's real settings?

No. They are niche-scoped inferences supported by observed ads and prompt evidence, not the advertiser's submitted targeting configuration.

04

Can competitor evidence be used to build a campaign?

Yes. Campaign Builder can validate observed prompt-to-creative mappings from selected competitor evidence before any recommendation is generated.

Turn the library into a view of your market.

Choose a category and the rivals you care about. The evidence stays linked to the ads and advertisers behind it.
